The matte black finish looks great on the counter, and the 8.5cm size is perfect for fitting over my mug without any spillage. It catches the granules well enough that my coffee comes out smooth, though it doesn't completely eliminate them.
I kept putting off buying a strainer because I thought it'd be a hassle, but this matte black one is so smooth to use. It catches nearly all the granules, leaving a much cleaner, smoother brew with zero metallic taste. Even the finish feels nice and solid in the hand.
