A Matcha Whisk Stand (known as a Chasen Naoshi or Kusenaoshi ) is specially designed to maintain the curved-shape of a matcha whisk. It is also used for storage and air-drying your bamboo whisk. With repeated use, a bamboo matcha whisk will naturally lose its curved shape

Not suitable for dishwashers, hand wash where possible.
My chasen finally keeps its perfect curl between uses instead of splaying out flat on the counter, and the hand-crafted ceramic feels sturdy enough to last for years. It's also nice that it doubles as a storage spot, so the whisk stays clean and dry until my next bowl of matcha.
